Fall Harvest

Monday was our third shoot, provided by Mary and Karen. They did a spectacular job, I loved shooting their set ups! It was a huge, beautiful assortment of fresh fall harvest vegetables, flowers, and fruits with an amazing SEVEN sets from which we could choose. About six of the sets used natural light while the main set used studio lights and was set up on some fantastic weathered wooden planks.

I chose these peppers resting on beet leaves on the wooden planks for my best shot. I liked this shot best because it’s vibrant, the food looks appetizing, and the arrangement of the peppers is dynamic. I also love the contrast from the background of the rough, dull, grainy wooden plank against the smooth, bright, shiny peppers.
